  • Launch the Settings app and navigate to Wi-Fi.

  • Note down the IP address.

Cydia Keeps Crashing Fix

1. Make sure to only run iOS 11.3.1 compatible Jailbreak Apps and Tweaks.

2. Make sure you really jailbroke your iOS device:

Electra Jailbreak for iOS 11.3.1 is a semi-tethered jailbreak. A semi-untethered jailbreak is similar to an untethered jailbreak, it gives the ability to reboot your iOS device on its own. On each boot, the iOS device startup sequence is unmodified and it boots into its original, non-jailbroken state. However, instead of needing to use a tool from a computer to re-jailbreak the iOS device again you can re-jailbreak their device with the the Electra app.

So if Cydia keeps crashing after successfully jailbreaking your iPhone or iPad with Electra Jailbreak for iOS 11.3.1 then it is most likely because your device is not in a jailbroken state yet.

To find out, launch the Electra app again. If you see Enable Jailbreak button instead of Share Electra then it means your device is not in a jailbroken state. You will need to tap the Enable Jailbreak to put your device in a jailbroken state. You may need to try a few times to put your device in jailbroken state as Electra Jailbreak is not very reliable yet. So you need to be patient and keep trying.

Follow this Troubleshooting Guide if you can't get the Electra iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak to work and to fix any related issues with it:

Once you are able to put your device in a jailbroken state, Cydia should stop crashing, and you should be able to launch it and install iOS 11.3.1 compatible jailbreak tweaks and apps.

Note: You will need to launch the Electra app, and tap on Enable Jailbreak every time you reboot the device.

If these tips won't fix your jailbreaking issue, keep up to date with new releases of the Electra Jailbreak Tool, the Electra Team continously releases new versions with bug fixes (i.e. Electra v1.0, v1.0.1v1.02).
